Photo painting assignment

here is the fisrt image i made using the artrage program, took some time but turned out alright :)

For this assignment we had to create surreal photos based on the photographs by Jerry Uelsmann. My eye image isn't really related but i had fun making it. My other image I'm not overly happy with and plan on making something else, but i will post that soon, when i have the right format.

its a bit tricky to see with this image but there is a building in the eye.

I enjoyed this assignment quite a lot! Lauren and I worked together to help each other with our images. We spent two full days shooting the photos, and had a lot of fun creating the different personalities :)

First big shoe.

Part of the drawing component includes 3 large scale shoe drawings, this is the first one of mine. i used ink as the outline on the page then ripped out sections of another piece of paper for the patterned and inside sections of the shoe.

this was my second lino print, that had to be totem themed..
the technique of i got to try of making it 2 colours was pretty cool, and looks nice for this :)
